Check a supplier order

When to use it

Check an order, its delivery, farmer assignments, documents, and related bills or credits.

Before you start

  • You need permission to view supplier orders and the order reference.

What this changes

Viewing or downloading this information does not itself change the source records.

You can identify what was ordered, what arrived, and which records still need attention.

A supplier order sets up a purchase. Receiving it records stock and a bill; approval, dispatch, receipt and payment are different stages.

Steps

  1. Open Sourcing → Supplier Orders, find the order, and select View.
  2. Check the supplier, order reference, status, sourcing date, and transport arrangement.
  3. Compare ordered, dispatched, and received quantities in the item details. Check units, grades, prices, and totals.
  4. Check farmer assignments and open the available documents. Inspect linked supplier bills and credit notes.
  5. If a linked record offers Review, use the appropriate bill or credit-note guide before making a decision.

Restrictions and help

  • Viewing does not approve an order, verify a document, or make a payment.
  • An exception order can be linked to the original order. Check both references before reviewing it.
