Send routes to the driver app
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to send routes to the driver app.
Before you start
- Open Routes from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
- Publishing changes the plan drivers receive; check their assignments and stop order first.
What this changes
The saved routes are sent or updated in the driver app.
Route actions change delivery planning, team assignments and stop details. Publishing makes a plan available to the driver; reversing a route changes stop order, not stock.
Steps
- Finish and save the route assignments and stop changes.
- Choose Send to driver app to open the route send review.
- Check every listed driver, route, duration, distance, order count, and current publish status.
- Use the send or update control offered for each eligible route. Check the result and published status.

Restrictions
Sending routes is separate from creating or saving them. Route add/edit access and eligible route state are required.
Publishing is available for eligible backoffice routes in Draft or Assigned status. Completed or cancelled routes cannot be published. Every delivery stop needs a valid map location; correct missing locations before sending.
If something went wrong
After a failed or unclear send/update, check each route's publish status and have Logistics check the corresponding driver-app route before retrying. Some routes may have succeeded while others failed.
If the wrong route/team/stops were sent, correct the eligible saved plan first through the relevant route action, then review sending its update. If the route is terminal or its state blocks changes, give Logistics the route reference, sent plan and intended correction. A saved backoffice edit is not proof the driver received the update.
Check the correction
Compare backoffice and driver-app route references, team and stops. Confirm the driver has the intended plan and is not working from an obsolete one.
