Import pricing from a spreadsheet

When to use it

Use this guide when you need to import pricing from a spreadsheet.

Before you start

  • Open Pricing from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
  • Import changes pricing for matching products; check the whole file before confirmation.

What this changes

The valid pricing file is submitted and the selected prices are updated.

Saved prices affect pricing choices for orders. A general price and a customer-specific price are separate records.

Steps

  1. Open Inventory → Pricing and choose Import Pricing.
  2. Download Download Pricing CSV where offered and complete the current template with real SKUs (codes for particular products, grades, and units) and unit names.
  3. Upload the file and review the preview. Check competitor low and high prices, market price, buying price, selling price, transport inclusion, and unit.
  4. Correct preview errors before selecting Import. Check the updated prices in the list.

Restrictions

The competitor low price cannot exceed the high price. Keep the template headings, and replace example values. The import cannot proceed with an empty preview.

If something went wrong

Before Import, correct the file/preview for the intended product codes, units and prices.

After an unclear import, inspect the affected saved rows before uploading again. If wrong prices were imported, prepare only the confirmed corrections using the current template, review the preview and import them, or correct individual rows through Pricing. Do not assume a failed response means no prices changed.

Check the correction

Compare each affected saved product/unit price with the approved file. Review orders already created using the wrong price separately.
