Add move or remove a route stop

When to use it

Use this guide when you need to add move or remove a route stop.

Before you start

  • Open Routes from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.

What this changes

An eligible order is assigned, reassigned, or removed from the route plan.

Route actions change delivery planning, team assignments and stop details. Publishing makes a plan available to the driver; reversing a route changes stop order, not stock.

Steps

  1. Open the order or route details for the selected day.
  2. Use Add to route or Change route for an eligible order, select the target route, and confirm.
  3. Alternatively, use Add stop in route details, select the orders, and choose Add Stop.
  4. To remove a stop, use its remove control only when permitted. Review the remaining stops and use Save Changes where shown.

Restrictions

Route add/edit access is required. Locked, cancelled, or otherwise ineligible work can restrict changes. Check the target route and save any pending plan changes.

If something went wrong

After an unclear stop change, reopen the original and destination routes and inspect where the order is actually assigned before moving it again.

For an eligible wrong placement, use Change route, the offered remove action or Add stop to put the order on the intended route, then save pending plan changes. Check both routes' remaining stops. If the route or stop is locked, in progress or otherwise blocked, give Logistics both references and the intended assignment rather than duplicating the order.

Check the correction

Confirm the order appears on the intended route once, with the correct team and sequence. Review driver-app updates and actual delivery work separately.
