Create or edit a flash sale
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to create or edit a flash sale.
Before you start
- Open Flash Sales from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
What this changes
A timed product offer is saved and visible in the flash-sale list.
Vouchers and flash sales affect eligible promotional pricing. Cancelling or deactivating a promotion is different from correcting orders that already used it.
Steps
- Open Sales → Flash Sales and select Add Flash Sale.
- Select the product and unit. Enter the available sale quantity, flash sale price, and start and end dates.
- Check the displayed normal unit price and the planned offer before selecting Save.
- For an existing offer, use Edit, update the editable details, and save.

Restrictions
Creation and editing need flash-sale add/edit access. Use the quantity and price for the selected unit, and keep the end date consistent with the start date.
If something went wrong
Before Save, check product/unit, available quantity, offer price and dates. After an unclear save, find the existing offer before creating another.
Use Edit to correct supported saved fields. If the wrong offer should stop, review Cancel or delete a flash sale. Check existing orders that used it separately; editing an offer does not rewrite their saved prices or invoices.
Check the correction
Check the saved product/unit, price, quantity, dates and status. Confirm intended customer-facing offer information with the Sales owner.
