Appearance
Maintain crops and linked farmers
When to use it
Record the crops grown and farmers linked to a supplier where those sections apply.
Before you start
- You need record add/edit permission and confirmed crop or farmer information.
What this changes
The profile shows the saved crops and linked farmers.
These actions change the saved farmer or supplier information used for sourcing. Submitted payment details still need separate payment-profile review.
Steps
- Open the relevant farmer or supplier Edit form.
- In Crops Grown, choose Add Item, select the crop and complete the shown fields. Confirm the item, or use Remove Item for an incorrect entry.
- For types that offer a farmer list, choose Add Farmer, select the farmer and complete the shown details. Remove an incorrect entry with Remove Item.
- Check the complete lists and save the record.
- Reopen the profile’s crop or farmer tab and check the saved entries.

Restrictions and help
- These sections vary by supplier type. Linking a farmer to a supplier does not assign them to an order.
- Use Assign Farmer on the order to record the farmer’s contribution to a specific delivery.
If something went wrong
If the wrong crop or farmer was linked, open the same profile's Edit form. Use Remove Item for the incorrect entry, then Add Item for the correct crop or Add Farmer for the correct farmer. Confirm the complete lists before saving the profile.
After an uncertain save, check the saved list before adding the same crop or farmer again. Give the Sourcing reviewer any affected purchase references; changing a profile link does not correct farmer assignments already recorded on orders.
Check the correction
Check the saved crops and linked farmers on the intended profile, then review any affected order assignments separately.
