Check or remove a customer record
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to check or remove a customer record.
Before you start
- Open Customers from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
- Do not remove a customer to hide an unpaid invoice or an unresolved order.
What this changes
You can inspect a customer and, when permitted, submit a removal request.
Customer and address details are used for orders and customer access. Sending an invitation contacts the selected recipient.
Steps
- Use View to check the customer profile and its Orders, Invoices, Delivery Addresses, Users, and Feedback tabs.
- If a record must be removed, return to the list and use Delete only after checking the company and its linked activity.
- Read the confirmation and resulting message. Reload the list to check the outcome.

Restrictions
Viewing, editing, and deletion have separate permissions. Existing linked records can affect whether removal is accepted.
If something went wrong
After an unclear Delete, reload the customer list and check the original record before repeating removal.
If the wrong customer was removed, give Sales, Finance and the administrator the original reference and linked users, orders and balance. There is no general restore control in this guide. Do not create another company and assume it restores the old users or financial links.
Check the correction
Check the actual customer record result and affected access/operational records. Agree any replacement with the owners before recording more orders or payments.
