Check and print an invoice
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to check and print an invoice.
Before you start
- Open Invoices from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
What this changes
Viewing or downloading this information does not itself change the source records.
You can check and print the invoice document.
Validation and sync can send invoice, tax or delivery information for further processing. Printing or exporting makes a copy; a payment request is not evidence that the customer paid.
Steps
- Open Sales → Invoices and find the invoice by customer or reference.
- Use View invoice for an eligible row.
- Check the billing details, line items, tax, total, and payment information.
- Select Print Invoice on the invoice page and review the browser print preview.

Restrictions
The invoice view control in the list is enabled for Completed or Dispatched orders. Printing does not mark an invoice as paid.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The invoice is missing or will not open | Check customer/reference search and available filters, then reload. Confirm the original order/invoice status and access before assuming nothing was invoiced. |
| The invoice details appear wrong | Compare billing details, quantities, tax and total with the saved order and payment evidence. Give Sales/Finance the references for source correction, then reopen the invoice; a printout does not correct the recorded amount. |
| The wrong or outdated invoice was printed/shared | Check the current invoice reference and values before Print Invoice and in the print preview. Replace old copies after the source correction and tell recipients which reviewed version to use. |
