Create a delivery route
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to create a delivery route.
Before you start
- Open Routes from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
What this changes
A route is created for the selected orders and assignments.
Route actions change delivery planning, team assignments and stop details. Publishing makes a plan available to the driver; reversing a route changes stop order, not stock.
Steps
- Select the correct date and the unscheduled orders to include.
- Use Plan selected orders or the route creation control shown.
- Set route date, start time, vehicle, driver, optional delivery assistant, and warehouse start or end options.
- Check the selected orders and assignments, then select Create Route.
- Review the saved route’s stops before publishing it.

Restrictions
Route add/edit access is required. Route creation needs selected eligible orders and valid assignment fields. Creating a route is separate from sending it to the driver app.
If something went wrong
Before Create Route, correct the selected orders, date/time, vehicle, driver, assistant and warehouse choices. After an unclear save, find the existing route before creating another.
For a saved eligible route with the wrong team or date, follow Reassign a route. For wrong order placement, use Route-stop correction. If the route should not proceed, review Cancel a route. Follow state/lock restrictions and give Logistics the reference when changes are blocked.

Check the correction
Check the saved route team, date/time, capacity and every stop. Creating or editing a route does not confirm a driver-app update or undo actual deliveries.
