Import reconciliation stock adjustments

When to use it

Use this guide when you need to import reconciliation stock adjustments.

Before you start

  • Open Stock Adjustments from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.

What this changes

The file is submitted to create reconciliation stock adjustments.

A saved stock adjustment can change stock before it is validated. Validation records approval; it does not apply the same quantity a second time.

Steps

  1. Open More actions and download the Reconciliation Stock Adjustment Template.
  2. Complete the file with the requested product and reconciliation information.
  3. Use Import Reconciliation Stock Adjustment, upload the file, and review the preview.
  4. Correct errors before selecting Import, then check the resulting adjustments.

Restrictions

This is different from the dated RTI (real-time inventory, or current recorded stock) Reconciliations process. Choose the process that matches the intended stock correction and use its own template.

If something went wrong

Before Import, correct the file's product references and adjustment information in its preview. This import is separate from applying an RTI Reconciliation.

After an unclear result, check the import summary and created adjustments before uploading again. Row-validation errors reject the upload without creating adjustments. For wrong adjustments that were created, review each through Stock-adjustment recovery, using its saved reference and validation state.

Check the correction

Compare the created adjustments and stock changes with the intended file rows. Confirm a retry did not duplicate the same adjustment.
