Download a reconciliation snapshot
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to download a reconciliation snapshot.
Before you start
- Open RTI Reconciliations from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
What this changes
Viewing or downloading this information does not itself change the source records.
The recorded reconciliation snapshot is downloaded.
A cycle count records a physical count. Applying a stock reconciliation is the separate action that changes stock and can change later stock values.
Steps
- Find the required reconciliation by date, source, reference, or status.
- Use its Download control.
- Check the downloaded snapshot’s reference and date before using it for another review.

Restrictions
A snapshot is a copy of recorded information. Downloading it does not apply or reverse stock adjustments.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The wrong snapshot downloaded or the file will not open | Check reconciliation date, source, reference and status, then use Download on the intended record again. Keep the reference and displayed error if the file still cannot be opened. |
| Snapshot quantities differ from current stock | A snapshot records a particular reconciliation and time; compare its date and rows with that source before using it as a current count. Have Inventory investigate source errors through Reconciliation help. Downloading a file does not apply or reverse stock. |
| An obsolete snapshot was shared | Share the checked file for the intended reconciliation reference/date and tell recipients which earlier copy to stop using. If they need current stock instead, use the current stock view; an old snapshot does not refresh automatically. |
