Check stock and upcoming demand
When to use it
Use this guide when you need to check stock and upcoming demand.
Before you start
- Open Real Time Inventory from the module menu. Your account must have access to this screen and permission for the action you want to complete.
What this changes
You can review current stock and the displayed short-term supply and demand picture.
Viewing, filtering or exporting information does not correct the underlying records. A downloaded file is a copy of the result at that time.
Steps
- Open Inventory → Real Time Inventory.
- Search by SKU (the code for a particular product, grade, and unit) and use category or status filters.
- Check current stock alongside Outgoing Stock, Incoming Stock, and Available Stock for today, tomorrow, and the day after.
- Use the Cycle Counts view where offered to compare recorded counts. Use Export CSV for the selected information.

Restrictions
RTI (real-time inventory, or current recorded stock) means real-time inventory. A forecast is not proof that incoming produce has arrived. Check receiving records and physical stock when a discrepancy needs investigation.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| A product or expected quantity is missing | Check product code, category and status filters, then reload. Keep the same grade/unit when comparing Incoming Stock, Outgoing Stock and Available Stock for today or an upcoming day. |
| Stock does not match the count or demand | Compare the physical count, stock history and saved supplier/customer orders for the same grade and date. Give Inventory the references and discrepancy; this view is not a stock adjustment. Refresh after an agreed source correction. |
| An outdated CSV was shared | Check filters, day, product grades and units before Export CSV. Verify the new rows/quantities and replace the earlier copy for its recipients. |
